Primary Share
Your primary savings account is actually a “share,” a statement of ownership in the credit union. This share makes you a member of St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union. It functions just like a regular savings account, offering you a safe way to save and earn competitive dividends. Funds can be used to provide overdraft protection for your sharedraft or as collateral for a pledged loan.
Junior Savers
A junior savers is a statement of ownership in the credit union. This share makes you a member of St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union. It functions just like a regular savings account, offering you a safe way to save and earn higher dividends. The junior savers is for a child under 16 years of age. Once the child becomes 16, the junior savers automatically converts to a primary share.
